I am disabled and suffered a TBI. So I have trouble dealing with stuff. Recently, my neighbors killed one of my cats and my husband not only is too chickenshit to talk to them about it, he tells me that it was probably an accident. They make no secret of the fact they want us to move out although we have been here 23 years and they have been here less than a month. WORSE AGAIN - the sheriff's department refuses to investigate, saying I have no proof as there was no necropsy. I can't afford to drive three cities away to the local University town and pay for a necropsy. Our vet said she did not need one to see it was a death by poison. So husband and cops refuse to help. And I am terrified for my other three cats.
