Privacy Policy

1. Overview

SayNothing is designed to minimize personal data. We avoid collecting directly identifying information. Posts are anonymous by design.

2. Data We Collect

  • Post content and the selected state.
  • Vote records per post keyed by a hashed combination of IP and user-agent (non-reversible), used to enforce one vote per person.
  • Basic metrics (e.g., counts, timestamps) and error logs for reliability.

3. How We Use Data

  • To provide the Service (store and display posts, compute likes/dislikes).
  • To protect the platform (rate limiting, moderation, abuse prevention).
  • To derive aggregate analytics to improve the app (non-identifying).

4. Storage & Security

We use Turso (libsql) for storage. We hash network signals for rate limits and voting. Access is restricted by environment keys. While we take reasonable measures, no system is perfectly secure.

5. Cookies

We use minimal cookies for admin authentication and basic site functionality. Admin cookie is scoped to the site, uses SameSite, and is time-limited.

6. Sharing

We don’t sell personal data. We may disclose data if required by law or to prevent abuse. Aggregated, de-identified metrics may be shared publicly.

7. Your Choices

You can choose not to post or vote. If you believe content infringes your rights, contact us and we’ll review promptly.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted to this page.
